Urban Life

July 28  at 10 AM – July 30 at 7 PM @Red Gallery  The Oblique Life and LIFE Collective LDN present Urban Life, an immersive exhibition to experience 3 artistic disciplines (fashion, music & visual art) under 1 roof and how they influence our perception of “Urban Life”.

To really engage with the different experiences we have partnered with some of the leading urban and contemporary fashion brands, created an interactive visual and audible art installation and will have London DJs playing urban music throughout the exhibition.

Friday 28th July 2017:
– ‘Shop Till You Drop’: 11am – 8pm
– ‘Synaesthesia’: 11am – 8pm
– ‘Did Someone Say BBQ’: 12pm – 8pm
– ‘Friday Night in the Mix’: 9pm – 2am

Saturday 29th July 2017:
– ‘Shop Till You Drop’: 11am – 8pm
– ‘Synaesthesia’: 11am – 8pm
– ‘Did Someone Say BBQ’: 12pm – 8pm

Sunday 30th July 2017:
– ‘Shop Till You Drop’: 11am – 6pm
– ‘Synaesthesia’: 11am – 6pm
– ‘Did Someone Say BBQ’: 12pm – 6pm

‘Urban Life’ is a three-day exhibition starting on Friday 28th July and running until Sunday 30th July. (Oblique Life Members will get 25% discount on all ticket prices). Here is what guests can expect from the exhibition:

Urban Life (Friday 28th July – Sunday 30th July, Entry Price: £5)
– ‘SHOP TILL YOU DROP’: A pop up shop showcasing some of the coolest contemporary and urban fashion brands, including: Agi & SamADYN clothing,  noirnoirPhilipp PleinNEIL BARRETTRick OwensDrkshdw and more…. All up to 60% off
– ‘SYNAESTHESIA’: Through a combination of visual projections, lasers, 3D holograms, illustrations and music, Nas Abraham- Visual Artist and multidisciplinary visual artist and Psychonaut Jose Montemayorr will be creating interactive installation on how a ‘synesthete’ views the world.
– ‘DID SOMEONE SAY BBQ’: We want to make this exhibition a place where people can hang out all day. We have therefore set up a delicious BBQ running all day so our guests can really make the most of the space.

It will be a super exhibition, but we are not stopping there and will have 1 extra event happening around the exhibition for those that want to go party a little!!

Friday Night in the Mix (Friday 28th July, Tickets: £10)
No event is complete without a good party we have decided to host a very special party on the opening night where we celebrate Urban music and its role in ‘Urban Life’. The line up including:

Sian Anderson popular ground breaking dj from 1Xtra that will be bringing her own mix of Melodic bass and club culture in the mix to replicate the energy she brings on her 1Xtra show.

Sian will be joined with a live performance from two Mc’s that create soul food music  Soul Purpose. A special live beats and production set from Benjamin Harrison who has just released an EP that we will expect to hear samples from entitled MAS Energia! Along with this there will be support from DJ Moses Midas well known for his presence on mixcloud and guest mixes on BBC Radio 1 Xtra. This is a line up that will represent the URBAN Life concept in an audible format, making friday a night not to miss,
